Very nice find near Tyler mall! Delicious and healthy halal Mediterranean food. Staff was really friendly and welcoming. Also very family friendly. Can't wait to revisit
Delicious food and friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend the chicken kabob plate. Also the baklava was heavenly. It seems to be family run and very nice staff.
my favorite place to eat. they have everything that i love rice, veggies, good protein choices, and a good lemonade. i have been coming here for years so i'm surprised i haven't left a review yet. best little family owned spot. the food is always fresh and tasty. service goes above and beyond (i love to be helped by the woman i forgot her name but she is the sweetest). the ambiance is calm, clean, quiet, and welcoming. i have even seen people come to study here! they have music playing in the back but is it calming and never too loud. my go to order is garlic feta fries (the sauce that comes with it is garlicky and superrrrrr delicious) and a mint lemonade. the fries are perfectly seasoned and the flavors of the garlic and feta just blend so nicely. their sauce just puts the cherry on top. i could probably drink the sauce. their mint lemonade is so refreshing and strong you can tell it is made there and not from concentrate. it is so good that you drink some and even when the ice melts it is still delicious. they also put fresh mint in it which i love; i like the texture. i also ordered the creamy chicken with broccoli with a side of greek salad. it is served over rice and with pita bread. the sauce was good and creamy. the chicken was seasoned and cooked well and had a little char to it which i liked. i was torn between their creamy mushroom or creamy broccoli...you have to pick one or the other. but the server had let me know they can give me a side of mushroom so i can try it with both and they did! at no extra cost might i add. the salad was so fresh and crispy. cucumbers and tomatoes super fresh also i can tell they were cut just then (not soggy or dry). sauce was also delicious and the olives taste high quality. i love olives. i've also had their baklava before and it is so tasty and flaky. they also have a new dessert "knafeh pistachio cup" which i need to try! i didn't see it until i was on my way out but i think it is their take on the "dubai chocolate" style dessert. i will be back for sure!!! the price is very good for the amazing quality and generous quantity. and the meat is halal which is superior in quality and taste...and more expensive so i think it's awesome the plates are even cheaper in price than other places!!
It's in a weird location but I was in the area and have meant to try it with its super high ratings. I'm spoiled by Georgie's in Canyon Crest but this was a solid option. The prices are higher and it's more of a sit down place. Food was good although I wish it had come with two sides rather than a salad and side. The hummus came with a dollop of some mysterious fermented thing in the middle that was interesting but I wouldn't say elevated the hummus. Chicken shawarma was tasty and juicy. Service was fine. Quiet when we went there Saturday at lunchtime. Seems to be family owned and ambiance is casual sit down.
Just when I thought this little gem couldn't get any better, but then I tried the Gyro wrap, and it completely blew me away with its packed flavor! It's so good that I've had two this week alone, and I might just come back for another. Don't judge me!
Park in the back! Big spot and definitely good for a family. Kept clean and service is prompt and fast! Baklava IS REALLY GOOD. I got turkish coffee, 2 baklava, curry chicken plate, veggie plate and a small fetoush. Good portions was roughly about $60 including a tip. For the amount of food and the health and freshness I think it's a good place to go here and there. I ate leftovers for 3 days!! It's nice because you have leftovers and it's healthy food instead of feeling hungry a few hours after eating. My only suggestion would be for them to lower the prices just a little bit on where a few items can be so that they're able to have more clientele that will come back regularly. This would be something I would go to maybe once a month or once every few months. If they lower the price just a little bit then I could see myself coming more often. But I know rent is crazy food prices are crazy especially when you're doing everything fresh so hopefully the community supports this location! It's a big location so this should be a spot that families go to to eat healthy! Would like to see 2 person specials line the Chinese food places you can get where it's an appetizer the main dish and a dessert and drinks for like 60 bucks. I think that would be a huge hit at this location! Keep in mind all of the main dishes that you get is enough for probably two people and a small child possibly. Definitely great portions! The baklava is big almost double the size where you would get it elsewhere. I keep wanting the baklava and Turkish coffee again. Turkish coffee is really big and it's a nice clean caffeinated experience I had to call back and get the name of what they use it was so Good for keeping me up without jitters.
My husband and I came here for the first time today and we already shared our experience with all our family and friends. Amazing amazing food and amazing service, the nicest people ever! The cilantro jalapeño hummus was soooo good! Their Knafeh Pistachio cup was delicious!
Found this location through Yelp on my way to an event in Riverside. We dined in. I ordered chili mango and a cilantro lime chicken plate. It was so delicious!!! Husband ordered the chimichurri steak. We also ordered dessert, it was amazing. Never had anything like it. Im sad there is no location close to our house because this location is almost 2 hours away from me. I dream of the delicious chicken.
I was coming to Riverside for a concert and wanted to grab a bite and found this spot on the way to our destination. It was perfect because we were looking for something healthy, yet fast. We arrived early and had about 40 minutes, so we decided to sit-down to eat rather than take it to-go. I got the chicken kabob sandwich and my brother had one of their plates. Their food is SO delicious and flavorful. It's a pretty decently sized portion as well, so I didn't get hungry later in the night. The food was fast and the service was great! Probably one of the best Mediterranean food I've had in awhile. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area. Great food at an affordable cost!
While visiting friends in Jurupa Valley, we discovered Sam's Pita and Kabob through Yelp with an impressive 4.9 stars rating. Eager to experience what made this establishment so highly rated, we decided to give it a try. Upon arriving, we were promptly seated in the spacious dining area. The staff quickly provided menus and water, setting a positive tone for our meal. After reviewing the menu, we decided to order the following dishes: Family Size Kabab Tray ($72.99) - This tray includes 4 chicken, 2 Kefta, and 2 lamb kebab skewers, as recommended by the owner. It comes with rice, hummus, salad, pita bread, Tzatziki, and garlic dips, comfortably serving 4-5 people. The lamb kebabs were delicious, especially when paired with the dipping sauces and homemade chili sauce. All the kebabs were cooked to perfection without any charring. The chili sauce is a must-try for spicy food lovers, enhancing the flavors of both the meat and rice. The Tzatziki and garlic sauces were outstanding, complementing the meat and pita bread along with the hummus. Lentil Soup ($6.99) - This soup was one of the best lentil soups I've ever had. It had a perfect consistency--not too pasty--leaving you wanting a second serving. Baklava Pistachio ($3.99) - The texture and taste were nice, making for a good dessert option. Baklava Walnut and Dates ($3.99) - This dessert was decent, albeit a bit too sweet for my taste. Italian Cream Cake ($8.99) - This cake was quite good, offering a unique dessert experience beyond the usual tiramisu. Turkish Coffee - Served in a specialized small cup, this coffee was very interesting and paired well with the sweets. The service was excellent, with the owners and servers being very friendly and welcoming. We had a great conversation with the owner, who is extremely hospitable. The family, originally from Lebanon, used to own an American restaurant there before starting this kabob restaurant in America. This is a 100% legit and tasty choice for kabobs. We are definitely coming back and will be recommending Sam's Pita and Kabob to our friends. The combination of exceptional food and outstanding service truly justifies the high rating.
